Juanita Dell Baxter Allen

Funeral services for Juanita Dell Baxter Allen will be Saturday, January 2, 2009 at 2:30 p.m. at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Chapel. Officiating will be Reverend James Boykin. Interment will follow at Rosedale cemetery in Sour Lake.
A gathering of family and friends will be Friday from 4-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
Juanita was born on October 21, 1925 in Franklin, Texas to the late Calvin Lacy and Faith Ashworth Baxter and went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 30, 2009. Juanita graduated from South Park High School in 1942 and resided many years in Beaumont and Sour Lake. She was a retiree of Sears.
Juanita was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Dean Allen; two daughters, Edith Farmer and Marsha Wagner, and son, Albert Barrilleaux.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Karen Capps and Jeff Bladon of Friendswood; sister, Earlene Carmichael of Beaumont; eight grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
