Juanita Fontenot Hardin, 74, of Orange, passed away Saturday, March 29, 2014, in Orange.
A funeral service will be 3 O’clock p.m., Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange. Officiating will be Pastor Dale Lee of The Cowboy Church in Orange. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Orange, Texas.
Visitation will be from 10 O’clock a.m. until service time, Tuesday at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Kaplan, Louisiana, on February 10, 1940, Juanita was the daughter of Ovey Fontenot and Dorothy (Faulk) Fontenot. Juanita worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Jones Nursing Home. She enjoyed crafting especially crocheting; but, she truly loved spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her first husband, Marcelino Pachuca, Jr.; brother-in-law, Jerry Morris.
Juanita is survived by her husband, Anthony Jeanise of Orange; her son, Mark Pachuca and wife Colleen of Orange; daughters, Kay Vandevender and husband Gary Miller, and Cathy and husband Mike Adair, all of Orange; step daughters, Deborah Jeanise of Orange; step son, Sammy Hall and wife Candy of Orange; her sisters, Mae Rose Morris and Alice and husband Nelson Plaisance all of Orange; eight grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers will be Josh Adair, Bubba Morris, Wes Pachuca, Bubba Pachuca, Hank Fontenot, and Gary Miller. Honorary pallbearers are Jace Vandevender, Jordan Pachuca, and Sammy Hall.
