She worked briefly as a receptionist at Hall & Hall. She was also a member of the Seventh Street Baptist Church in Nederland, TX, the Rebecca Lodge, and Eastern Star. Mrs. Marshall was preceded in death by her husband, Lincoln E. Marshall. Those left to cherish her memory are daughter, Virginia Arnaud of Nederland, and step-son, David Marshall and wife Liz of Nederland; grandchildren, Kristin Richard and husband, Phillip and Jerry Carter; great-grandchildren, Jordan and Micah Carter and Sterling Richard; step-grandchildren, Jerry Marshall and Holly Hebert; and 5 Step great grandchildren; brother, Wayne Parker of Bridge City.
She gave without expecting in return. She believed without ever giving up. She loved unconditionally without being scared of love being returned. She never stopped caring for family and friends. For her family, she was an angel on earth. Most of all, she was my Mother who was always there and always will be by my side now and forever. She surely touched many lives.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make donations to M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, PO Box 4486, Houston, TX 77210-4486.
