Judith Ann “Judy” Morris, 79, of Orange, Texas, passed away on May 9, 2025, at St. Lukes Hospital in Houston.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Jeff Bell. Burial will follow at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery in West Orange.
Visitation will begin prior to the service at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Orange, Texas, on March 26, 1946, she was the daughter of Harry Hudson and Martha (Snyder) Hudson. Judy was a Department Manager at Walmart, where she was known for her hard work and commitment to her job. Judy loved her family dearly and cherished the time spent together, especially during the joyful Christmas gatherings she organized every year. These family Christmas parties were memorable occasions filled with love and laughter, creating lasting memories for everyone involved. She enjoyed caring for her critters and was an avid bird watcher. She loved dancing and music, with a particular fondness for 50's tunes and Cajun melodies. Judy also took great pleasure in spending time working in her yard, traveling to new places, fishing, and enjoying cookouts and BBQs with her loved ones. Summer family get-togethers often included swimming in the pool, further solidifying her love for family and the warm, sunny days spent together. Judy will be remembered for her kind heart, spirited personality, and the love she brought to those around her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Martha Hudson; and husband Arthur Morris.
She is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, John Conlon; daughter, Pam Stone and Donna Rosier; son, Steven Morris and wife Salina; grandchildren, Zac Stone and wife Jessica, Morgan Stone and husband Ben, Easton Morris, and Dawson Morris; siblings, Peggy Patin, Sally White, Sandy McCormack, Bobby Hudson and wife Crystal; numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.
