Judy LaNell King Stephenson, 63, of Orange, passed away on September 22, 2017, in Sulphur, Louisiana.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday, September 25, 2017, at Calvary Baptist Church, 2402 Western Ave., West Orange, TX 77630. Officiating will be Reverend Kevin Brown of First Baptist Church Mauriceville. Burial will follow at Stephenson Cemetery in Duncan Woods, TX.
Visitation will precede the service, starting at 12:30 PM.
Born in Orange, Texas, on November 20, 1953, she was the daughter of Bobby King, Sr. and Janelle Cruitt King. Judy worked for Orange County and the State of Texas. Afterword, she worked for the Little Cypress-Mauriceville school district as the Principal’s secretary for 22 years. After retiring, she spent her time taking care of her grandkids and the rest of her family. Judy was loved deeply and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, David Stephenson of Mauriceville; sons, Nathan Stephenson and wife, Christy, of Bridge City, and Bryan Stephenson of Mauriceville; two grandchildren, Seth and Jude Stephenson; siblings, Saundra Temple of Mauriceville, and Bobby King, Jr. of Tampa, FL; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be Mark Stephenson, Nathan Stephenson, Bryan Stephenson, Greg Temple, Clint Temple, and Bobby King, Jr.
