June Ellen Guidry, 58, of San Antonio, passed away on Friday, August 1, 2014, in San Antonio.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Thursday, August 7, 2014 at St. Henry’s Catholic Church in Bridge City. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Bridge City.

Visitation will be from 5:00-9:00 PM, Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City. Rosary will be held at 6:00 PM during the visitation.

Born in Orange, Texas, on June 24, 1956, she was the daughter of James and Dorothy Middlebrooks. June loved gardening, and was a world traveler. She was a devoted wife with a warm smile and a cheerful nature. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Dorothy Middlebrooks; and 3 brothers, Stanley Middlebrooks, Alan Middlebrooks, and Mark Middlebrooks.

She is survived by her husband, Dave Guidry; 2 stepsons, Bryan Guidry and Tyler Guidry; 2 sisters, Lynn Linthicum Middlebrooks and Donia Newsome Middlebrooks; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
