Katherine Williams, 89, of Lumberton was born Nov. 21, 1927 in Little Rock, Arkansas and passed away June 29, 2017 in Silsbee, Texas.
A graveside service honoring her life will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Bridge City. Rev. Mark Bunch, pastor of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Bridge City will officiate.
Mrs. Williams was a homemaker, a member of Call United Methodist Church and a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She had resided in Lumberton for the past 24 years and was a former resident of Call and Bridge City, Texas.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Raymond Herrington of Lumberton; son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Sue Williams of Lumberton; grandchildren, Johnny Westbrook and fiancée Kim of Lumberton, Teri and Jason Green of Kilgore; and 5 great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her sisters, Wilma Spradling of Tatum and Shirlene Curnutt of Henderson.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Harvey J. Williams; parents, Clifton and Pansy Nabors; granddaughter, Wendy Terry; brother, Leonard Nabors and sister, Mary Potts.
