Kathy Dianne Tully Turner

Kathy Dianne Tully Turner, 59, of Bleakwood and a former resident of Orange, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2011, at her home.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange with Reverend David Berkheimer and Reverend Randy Fults, officiating. Burial will follow at Trout Creek Cemetery near Kirbyville.

Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday at funeral home in Orange.

Born in Orange on September 9, 1951, Kathy was the daughter of Jack Harrell Tully and Ruth Allene Freeman Tully. She was a teacher having taught at Silsbee Middle School in Silsbee, Community Christian School in Orange and Edison Junior High in Port Arthur. Kathy was a former longtime member of Community Church in Orange and currently a member of Trout Creek Baptist Church in the Trout Creek Community.

Preceded in death by her sister, Angela Tully Bland, Kathy is survived by her husband, Rob Turner of Bleakwood; parents, Jack and Ruth Tully of Bon Wier; daughters, Robin Turner of Gladewater and Grace Turner Spell of Newton; and son, Preston Turner and wife, Kayla of Bridge City.

She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren, Katherine and Jenna Watson, Sophie Spell, Bailey and Madison Turner; brothers, George Tully and wife, Gail, Jack D. Tully and wife, Jan, and Collins Tully all of Henderson; and sister, Betty Credeur and husband, Mike of Bon Wier.
