Keith Dwayne Welch, 48, of Orange, Texas, passed away on June 5, 2022, in Broaddus, Texas.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 11, 2022, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Pastor Harold Welch of Bastrop, Texas, Lay Pastor Keith Maloy of Cowboy Church of County, and Chaplan David Abshire with New Century Hospice. Burial will follow at Dorman Cemetery in Orange.
Visitation will be held prior to the service, beginning at 9:00 a.m., at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Kirbyville, Texas, on November 4, 1973, he was the oldest son of Ronald Welch and Sandra (Purcell) Welch – brother to Nathaniel and Ronald Welch, Jr. Keith was a dedicated single father of two. His whole world was his children, Jayden and McKenzie. Keith loved them with all his heart, to the moon and back. He will be dearly missed by all family and friends.
Our hearts are broken for his young children who will miss their devoted father. He always had a smile on his face.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, M. L. and JennieV Purcell, and Junior and Ora Dee Welch.
Those left to cherish his memory include his parents, Ron and Sandra Welch; his beloved children, Jayden and McKenzie Welch; and his brothers, Nathaniel Welch and Ronald Welch, Jr.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jeremy Sims, John Brown, Jody Gray, Spencer Fuss, and Robert McKay. Honorary pallbearers are Charlie Bergt.
