Born in Orange, Texas, on September 18, 1975, he was the son of Michael James Cordova and Debby Cordova (Reeves). Kelly found the love of his life, Kimi, at Sunset Grove Country Club. They married in 2005, and spent 18 wonderful years together. He was a business owner and entrepreneur, owning the industrial degreasing company, E.E.A. Inc., which earned him the nickname “Soapy” in the local plants. Kelly’s house was filled with friends, family, and love. He was always making new friends wherever he went and never met a stranger along the way. Kelly was a member of the Orange Boating Club, Theta Chi Fraternity, and Sunset Grove Country Club. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, a hunter, and he enjoyed travelling, especially to the annual Squirrel-a-thon with his friends and family. Kelly was a true musician, writing, singing and performing his own songs on his guitar. He loved playing music, golfing, and being a “good ol’ scooter rider” starting out riding his dad’s Harley and eventually his own. He will be missed by his loving Texas Lacy dogs, Trump and Tally. Kelly was a wonderful husband, son, uncle, cousin, and friend and his memory will be cherished by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Floyd and Ruby Reeves, and Gilbert and Pauline Cordova.

He is survived by his loving wife Kimberly “Kimi” Cordova; parents, Mike and Debby Cordova; In-laws, Wally and Nancy Sieck; brother, Kevin Cordova-Brookey and spouse, Brian; brother-in-law, Jason Sieck and spouse, Kylie; nieces and nephews, Catherine Matthews and spouse, Sunshine, William Brookey, Elizabeth Brookey, Taylor Kazik-Sieck, Liam Sieck, and Cooper Sieck; great-nephew, River Matthews; as well as numerous loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Honorary pallbearers are Brian Cordova-Brookey, Jason Sieck, Catherine Matthews, William Brookey, Elizabeth Brookey, Taylor Kazik-Sieck, Liam Sieck, and Cooper Sieck.
