Kelly Denae Goodwin, 44, of Bridge City, passed away on October 14, 2021, in Beaumont.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 23, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Pastor David Turner.

Visitation will be held prior to the service from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Saturday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Born in Orange, Texas, on September 28, 1977, she was the daughter of Jimmie Dugas and Patsy Meredith Gentzler. Kelly was known for her bubbly personality and big smile. She never met a stranger and was the best friend that you could have. Family was of upmost importance to Kelly and she was the best mother to her two boys, Chasse and Trey. She was a huge baseball fan and could be found almost anytime at the fields watching the boys play year round. She was dearly loved by many and left memories that will last a lifetime.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jimmie Dugas; and stepmother, Julie Anna Dugas.

She is survived by her loving husband of 19 years, Scott Goodwin; mother, Patsy Meredith Gentzler and stepfather, George of Orange; in laws, Albert Goodwin and wife Lynanne of Mauriceville; grandmother, Effie Crawford; sons, Chasse Goodwin and Trey Goodwin; brother, Jeff Dugas and wife Debbie of Orange; and numerous loving family and friends.

Cremation will be under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Bridge City Little League.
