A memorial service celebrating the life of Kenneth L. Venable, 66, of Vidor will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 12, 2017 at Harmony Baptist Church in Vidor with Pastor Doug Bray officiating.
Ken was born June 24, 1950 in Lafayette, LA and passed away at his residence on March 10, 2017. A resident of Vidor for 40 years, he owned and operated Ken’s Paint and Body Shop in Vidor for many years. He was a member of Harmony Baptist Church and was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Barbara Venable; children, Dewayne Venable, Melissa Barrow, David Venable, Catina Venable, Debra Venable; grandchildren, Cody Smith, Matthew Smith, Blake Venable, Layney Venable, Justin Douget, Jessica Douget, Austin Venable, Hannah Venable; great-grandson, Braydon Venable.
He is also survived by his brother, Jimmy Venable and sisters, Jackie French, Peggy Adams, and Dana Venable.
