Born in Orange, Texas on June 15, 1977, Kevin was the son of Thomas Lee and Sharon Ann (Sims) Hutson. He was a lifelong resident of Newton County where he was known as a “Good Ole Boy” and country through and through. Kevin loved being a father and Uncle Kevin to many nieces and nephews. Everyone loved Kevin and he leaves behind many, many friends he called family. He was a boilermaker by trade but loved catching catfish, running his boat, hunting with his girls and fishing with his son, and hog hunting with the guys. Many a day you could find him hanging out at the family houseboat, out on the sandbar or watching the Texans in his mancave. Kevin recently was baptized, along with several friends whom he had influenced by his testimony. He touched numerous lives during his short lifetime and his memory and light will continue to shine through them all.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Lee Hutson; and his grandparents, Virgil and Ruth Hutson and Raymond and Jackie Sims.
He is survived by his mother, Sharon Hutson of Newton County; his children, Lenzi Hutson, Lezlee Hutson, and Zackery Hutson, all of Mauriceville; the mother of his children, Shannon Hutson of Mauriceville; his siblings, Tracy Hutson LaFleur of Newton County, Denise Smith and Todd Barks of Starks, Louisiana, and Brad Hutson of Deweyville; his soon-to-be grandson, Lane; as well as his numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends.
