Kevin Adam Bergeron, 49, of Groves, died Monday, April 25, 2011, at his residence.
The family gathered on Thursday morning for a private service with Father Joseph Daleo, pastor of St. Mary?s Catholic Church in Orange, officiating. Kevin was laid to rest next to his father at St. Mary?s Cemetery in Orange.
Born in Orange on November 12, 1961, he was the son of Fredrica Haley and Roy Bergeron. He worked as an insulator with Asbestos Local 112 in Lake Charles.
Preceded in death by his father, Roy Bergeron, Kevin is survived by his mother, Fredrica Bergeron of Rio Rancho, New Mexico; daughter, Simone Seal Oregel and her husband Jose of Nederland; brother, Keith Bergeron and his wife Lillian of Dawsonville, Georgia; sisters, Karla Hatcher and her husband Robert of Bush, Louisiana, Karin Byrd of Ardmore, Oklahoma, Kristi Bland of Madisonville, Louisiana and Kim Reddoch and her husband Kurt of Orange.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to The Down Syndrome Association of Greater New Orleans, P.O. Box 23453, New Orleans, Louisiana 70183.
