Kim Denise Leonard, 64, of Orange, passed away on December 15, 2024, at her home in Orange.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 19, 2024, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Brother Tony Story. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Orange, Texas, on June 23, 1960, she was the daughter of William A. Free and Norma Raye Middleton Free. Kim leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth. Known for her compassionate nature, she served as a dedicated caregiver, always putting the needs of others before her own. Her family was her greatest joy, and she found immense happiness in her role as a grandmother. Affectionately referred to as "Memaw" by her beloved grandchildren, she cherished every moment spent in their company. Kim will be remembered as a figure of strength and support, whose laughter and kindness touched the hearts of those around her. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for the love she shared and the light she brought into the lives of her family.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Wil Leonard.
She is survived by her daughters, Krystle Leonard, and Brittany Moore and husband, Robert; her grandchildren, Bryleigh Grace Moore, and Brodye Easton Moore; her brother, Bill Free and wife, Susan; her sister, Gail Eads; and numerous other loving family members and friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be Lance, Chad, Mikey, Josh, Michael, Robert, and Landon
