Laceia Aline Perkins

Laceia Lacy Aline Perkins was born February 14, 1944 in Lake Charles, LA and passed into the Lord's hands on May 5, 2010 in Beaumont, TX, where she had lived most of her life. She is survived by daughter, Tammy Acor and husband, Gary Henry and her children, Ashley, Austin, Adrian, and Sebastian, of Nederland, TX and son, Derek Perkins and his children, Kimberly and Chasity, of Vidor, TX. She is also survived by her sister, Lanaya Lani and husband, Dr. Richard Liggett, of San Antonio and one nephew, Tim Lewis of Rosepine, LA. She loved her children and grandchildren and was always happy to show photos of them. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the doctors and nurses of Baptist Hospital and Harbor Hospice and to Mrs. Stokes who cared and helped Lacy; during her stay there she was a real blessing.
Funeral services will be held Monday, May 10, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. in the Claybar Kelley Watkins Chapel with interment to follow in Magnolia Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, May 7, at the funeral home, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
