Laelene Boudreaux, of Beaumont, TX, 79, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2017 at Houston Hospice, Houston, TX. She was born in Beaumont, TX to Frank and Mattybelle Lytle. She was a graduate of South Park High School in 1956 and later married Thomas Boudreaux in 1957. They celebrated 60 years of marriage and together had 3 children. She worked as a medical book keeper and insurance specialist. She was a member of Sabine Tabernacle for 79 years and together with her husband was a leader of the Young Couples League for 40 of them. She loved to cook for family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her late husband Thomas Boudreaux, her parents Frank and Mattybelle Lytle, along with her brother Harry Lytle.
She is survived by her children, David Boudreaux and wife, Maxine, Carol Miller and husband, Greg, and Daniel Boudreaux and wife, Sheila. Her pride and joy were her surviving grandchildren, Aaron Campbell and wife, Charice, Brandon Campbell, Gretchen Courting and husband, Jason, Kayla Boudreaux, and Skylan Boudreaux Lawrence; and five great grandchildren, Bailey Campbell, Nash Campbell, Cole Campbell, Brandon Campbell, Jr., and Camille Courting.
She is also survived by one sister, Martha Dreinhoffer; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 9, 2017, at Sabine Tabernacle in Beaumont. Burial will follow at Haven of Rest Cemetery in Beaumont.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM, Friday, September 8, 2017, at Claybar-Kelley Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont.
Service as pallbearers are Josh McCullough, Blake Worthen, Todd Senters, Sam Thompson III, Dennis Sharpton, and Barry Allen.
