They built a farm in Mauriceville, Texas and raised Beefmaster cows. Larry went on to work for and retire from Mobile in Beaumont, Texas. Another favorite pastime was building a racecar with his son and son-in-law, which brought the family many trophies and fun times. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Met Larry when my son married his daughter. He was a very jovial person and he thought the world of his daughter. My prayers and thoughts go out to his family at this sad time.
