Leola Marie Broussard, 84, of Orange, Texas, passed away on February 2, 2020, at Oakwood Manor Nursing Home.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 10, at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Orange. Officiating will be Deacon David Bonneaux.

Visitation will be held prior to the graveside service from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., with a Rosary starting at 12:30 p.m. at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Born in Kaplan, Louisiana, on September 9, 1935, she was the daughter of Ivy LaBry and Beatrice Broussard (LaBry) Broussard. Leola enjoyed sewing and dancing. She was a devout Catholic and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Leola will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Broussard, Sr.; children, Desire Sellars, Sherry Henry, Robert Blane Broussard, and James Craig Broussard; sisters, Miriam Vercher and Elaine Wesson; great grandchildren, Brylen Broussard and Matthew Hall; daughter in law, Lisa Broussard; and son in law, Tim Sellers.

She is survived by her son, John Broussard, Jr.; daughters in law, Veronica Broussard and Cathy Broussard-Gary; grandchildren, Cory Sellars, Rhonda Falon, Giovanna Henry-Hall, Sharessa Henry, Teletha Henry, David Henry, Chris Broussard, Jessica Pymm, Robert Broussard, Skylar Broussard, Kirsty Broussard, Cierra Hughes, Trey Broussard, Chaise Broussard, C.J. Broussard, and Joseph Tager; siblings, Frances Cloud of Hemphill, Glenn LaBry of Orange, and Brenda Gunn of Mauriceville; God daughter, Christine Bonneaux and husband David; and many great and great great grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers will be John Broussard, Trey Broussard, Robert Broussard, C.J. Broussard, Mark Hall, Adam Hughes, Josh Cole, and Chris Broussard.
