Mary, I am so sorry you are having to go through this. I enjoyed my years around Leon when I was an agent with Allstate. He was witty, funny, always truthful and had a heart open to so many others. I considered it my privelege to have been a friend. May God wrap you up, hold you close and may your great memories of Leon always put a smile on your face as it does so many others, including myself. Ken Hollingsworth

To the family and friends of Leon Parker, I extend my condolences. Death, being the enemy it is, will soon be done away with according to 1 Corinthians 15:26 and Revelation 21:4. Also, John 5:28,29 states that there will be a resurrection of all those in the grave. That includes Leon. Because we know that "God cannot lie", we can put all of our hope and trust in His promises. (Titus 1:2) For more information on this subject, click the following link: www.jw.org and select "Publication." Scroll and click on the yellow "Bible Teach" book and scroll and read the chapter "Real Hope for Your Loved One Who Has Died" along with your Bible. I hope the cited scriptures brings you, your family and all who knew Leon comfort in the days ahead.
