Prayers and thoughts go out to Ms. Betty, his family and friends. We have only been his neighbors for a couple of years but enjoyed his conversations about his life, work history and the neighborhood. I miss hearing him rev up that blue truck. I always knew he was feeling better when he was getting out. May he rest in peace.

He was one hell of a man. He was never rude to anyone. He went through some really terrible challenges in life but he always walked tall. He was always there when I was down, and never failed to pick me up. We didn't always agree, but that's what fathers and sons do. He loved when me and Justin and him would go hunting and camp overnight. He loved to be in camp and cook. We have some fabulous memories.

My dad was always a constant support in my life. My nickname for him was my main squeeze. That always made him smile. A person goes through life with only one dad. And I am so lucky God gave me him to be that person
