Leonard Lambright, Jr. 74, of Beaumont passed away June 11, 2011 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born May 1, 1937 in Louisiana but spent many years in the southeast Texas area. Leonard graduated from French high School in 1955. During his life he worked at Trotti & Thompson as an operator. He later owned Jimmies Novelty Company which distributed jukeboxes, pool tables, games and cigarette machines.
Leonard is preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Willie Mae Lambright and his brother A. E. Kaz Cloud. Surviving Leonard is his wife of 50 years, Nelda Lambright, his daughters; Patricia Neff and her husband John, Mary Lewis and her husband Richard, and Brenda Trahan and her husband John; grandchildren, Teri Neff Calloway, John Neff, Jr., Wesley and Greg Barefield, Chyvonne Angelle, Elisha Brenham, and Chelsie Trahan; great-grandchildren, Acelyn Calloway, Callen and Addison Angelle , Lane and Nickolas Angelle, Aidan Brenham and Rhede Branch.
A gathering of friends and family will be held Monday, June, 13, 2011 from 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home. A celebration of Leonard?s life is Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Rosedale Baptist Church in Beaumont. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
