Leslie Keith Hunt

Leslie Keith Hunt, 83, died on November 7, 2008, at his residence in Nederland.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City. Pastor Newly Hunt will officiate and burial will follow at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery in West Orange.
Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home on Monday, November 10, 2008.
Mr. Hunt was born on October 24, 1925, to William Herbert Hunt and Bertha French Hunt. He was a member of Boilermaker Local 587 at Levingston Shipyard and served in the U.S. Navy. He was also a fireman for the City of Orange for eight years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Hunt; his grandson, Corey DuBois and his great granddaughter, Kaylan Avery. He is survived by his son, Jack Hunt, of Orange; his daughter, Judy Mancil of Huntsville; his daughter, Peggy Schaeffer and husband, David of Vicksburg, MS; his son, Joey Hunt and wife, Dawn, of Bridge City; his stepson, Jack Pryor and wife, Denise of Lumberton; stepdaughter, Patti Boose and husband, David of Round Rock and stepson, Mike Pryor, and wife Janie of Corpus Christi; 21 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
He also leaves three brothers; Don Hunt, Harold Hunt, and Glenn Hunt; three sisters; Lucille Williams, Myrtle McKnight and Juanita Patty and good friend, Lopez.
Pallbearers will be Slade Hunt, Coy Hunt, Ethan Hunt, John Butler, Jamie Mancil, and Jody DuBois.
Honorary pallbearers are Chris Hunt and Newly Hunt.
