Born in San Augustine, Texas on June 20, 1925, she was the daughter of Bennie and Addie Seago.
Lillian lived a very long and full life, and the roots of our family began with her. She started a legacy, years ago, that we can only dream will be passed down for generations. Lillian loved working in her garden, and she did all of her own yard work and gardening. For many years she provided family and friends with fresh vegetables and homemade jellies. Lillian enjoyed cooking and baking and there wasn’t a day that passed she wasn’t doing one or the other. Lillian loved her little dogs and cats so much, and they kept her busy when she wasn’t working in her yard or kitchen. But most of all, Lillian loved spending time with her precious family, and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her four daughters, Carolyn Burris of Deweyville, Verna Ahlborn and husband Patrick of Deweyville, Judith Griffin of Georgia, and Diann Ludwig of California; 17 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; and 18 great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Bennie and Addie Seago; her three sons, Charles Boyles, Grover Eugene Trussell, and Robert Earl Trussell Sr., grandchildren Glen Dahlquist, Greg Edwards, Robert Earl Trussell Jr., and great-grandchildren, Mikey Loftin and Shayna Cline.
Serving as pallbearers will be Damian Trussell, Garrett Davis, Brady Williams, Allen Trussell, Drew Mitchem, and Dane Mitchem. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert D. Trussell, Charles “Dylan” Trussell, Nickolus Edwards, Devin Edwards, and Ethan Michael.
