Lillian Ogden Richardson, 97, of Silsbee, Texas, formerly of Lumberton, Texas, passed away on April 11, 2020 in Silsbee.
A private graveside service will be held at Magnolia Cemetery in Holly Springs, Texas, on Thursday, April 16, 2020. Officiating will be Chaplain David Cross.
She was born in March 7, 1923 to Robert W. Ogden and Ray Ogden. She was raised in Call, Texas until she married Donald Richardson and they moved to Beaumont. They were longtime members of Calvary Baptist Church on Corley. They moved to Lumberton in 1992 and was a member of First Baptist Church of Loeb.
She was an employee of Transamerica Financial service for 36 years before retiring in 1986
She is survived by her son Tim Richardson, 2 very special nieces Elsie Fillyaw and Nelda Ehman both of Holly Springs, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Donald R. Richardson, her 2 sisters, and 3 brothers.
She was wonderful wife and a great mother. She enjoyed family and friends. She always had a smile and word of encouragement to everyone who visited.
