Born in Orange, Texas, on March 6, 1947, she was the daughter of Rufus Dyer and Thelma Kertz Dyer. She lived her whole life in the Orange Community. She attended Lutcher Stark High School and graduated in 1965. She enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom, and while raising her two sons she was actively involved with all their activities, such as coaching their teams and being on the PTA. She later worked for Smith Lee Olds as a title clerk. This is where she met the love of her life Morris Skip Moore. Her and Skip were valued members of society and were avid WOS fans. They loved spending time with friends and family and would dance the night away. In her last years of employment, she worked for Little Cypress school district. She was a paraprofessional in content mastery and special education. Wherever Linda was there was always sunshine in the room. She made a difference where she went. Her smile, laughter and positive encouragement will be missed by everyone who knew her.

Linda leaves behind her husband of 38 years, Morris Skip Moore; her two sons, Ronnie Fregia, Jr. and wife Julie, David Fregia and wife Dionna, stepdaughter Laura Hickey and husband Billie, and Landry Schmid and her husband Russell; her loving grandchildren, Skyler Lathrop, Paris Fregia, Stone Fregia, Brandon Hall, Dillon Young, Will, Jessica and Scotty Hickey, Madison Schmid and Abby Hastings; and her nieces and nephews, Charlotte Dyer Greineisen, Dena Dyer Thompson, Jaime Dyer Williams, Ernie Dyer and Edward Dyer; and many great nieces and nephews as well as great-grandchildren and God children.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rufus and Thelma Dyer; and her brothers, Ernest and Charles Dyer.
