Linda Rose Solomon

Linda Rose Solomon, 61, of Bridge City, went home to be with her Heavenly Father, Friday, January 23, 2009.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 26, 2009 at First Baptist Church in Bridge City. Officiating will be Reverend Bob Boone of First Baptist Church in Bridge City and Reverend Marvin Powell.
Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens near Bridge City.
Visitation will be held Sunday, January 25, 2009 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City.
Linda was born in July 23, 1947 in Orange to I.W. Lewis, Jr. and Alta Rose Burkett Lewis. Linda was a 50 year member of First Baptist Church in Bridge City, and a longtime member of Bridge City Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She was also a hairdresser and the owner and operator of The Final Touch in Bridge City for 25 years.
Preceded in death by her parents, Linda, is survived byher husband of 43 years, Richard Solomon; daughters, Melisa Winn and husband Todd of Bridge City and Melanie Rozas and husband Beau of Beaumont.
Also surviving Linda are five grandchildren, Trey Ayres, Sydney Winn, Taylor Rozas, Amber Winn, Arron Winn; and Brother, John Lewis of College Station.
Serving as pallbearers will be Chace Mann, Eric Broom, David Riley, Steve Higgs, James Broom, and Kenneth Mann. Honorary pallbearers will be the members of Valero Fire Department.
