Obituary
Linda Lou Yokum, 70, of Orange, passed away on January 13, 2021.
A memorial celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 23, at Second Baptist Church in Bridge City.
Born in Orange, Texas, on April 4, 1950, she was the daughter of R.A. McGuire and Bernice (Hardin) McGuire. Linda graduated from Bridge City high school in 1969. She was a woman of many hobbies, those including reading, travelling, playing cards & bingo with her friends, and crafting. Linda loved spending time with her family, always making a point to dote endlessly on her grandchildren. She worked Winnie Trade Days often and enjoyed gracing the crowds with her warm spirit and gentle smile.
She was preceded in death by her parents, R.A. and Bernice McGuire; husband of 39 years, Jimmy Yokum; and brother, Glen McGuire.
She is survived by her daughters, Angela Yokum of Orange; Sheree Yokum and husband Willie Linder of Port Neches; grandchildren, Alexis Mays, Seth Yokum, Colby Milliner, Chrisle Mays, Melody Aytes, Remington Burch, Wyatt Mosier and Rhett LeJeune.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the office of Dr. Chen-hah for all their love and care they showed to Linda.
