Lisa Nelson Fraley

Lisa Nelson Fraley passed away at her home in Naples, Texas on February 28, 2010.

She was born on July 2, 1959, in Lake Charles, Louisiana, where she grew up and attended local schools. Lisa graduated from Barbe High School in 1977. She attended U.S.L., graduating from McNeese State University in 1983 with a BS degree in Business Management. She faithfully attended the University United Methodist Church.

Lisa moved to Orange, Texas in 1990 and worked as a Student Loan Counselor at Lamar College-Orange.

She is survived by her Husband, Reverend Michael L. Fraley; and three Sons, James N. McKinley, William L. McKinley and Samuel L. Fraley.

Also surviving are her Parents, Billie Jo and Howard Nelson; two Brothers and Spouses, Mark H. and Susan Nelson, Erik J. and Jennifer Nelson; her Mother-in-law and Father-in-law, Beth and Oscar Fraley; Brother-in-law and Sister-in-law, Wesley and Karen Fraley; and Nieces and Nephews, Andrew Nelson, Madeleine Nelson, Jillian Nelson, Sylvia Nelson, Lawson Paul Nelson, Kesley Fraley, Gene Harrell, Joey Harrell and Tana Hernandez.

Visitation will be held at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted by Reverend Tom Stephenson and Reverend Dr. Kabamba Kiboko at the First United Methodist Church in Orange at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 5, 2010.

Interment will be at the Methodist Conference Cemetery in Palestine, Texas on Saturday at 12:00 p.m.

The family suggests that memorials may be directed to the Youth Fund at the Naples First United Methodist Church or to the First United Methodist Church in Orange, Texas.
