Lloyd Virgil Hall
Lloyd Virgil Hall, 79, of Orange, Texas, passed away on April 20, 2018, in Port Arthur, Texas.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 24, 2018, at First Church of Orange with Reverend Gary Wheeler officiating. Burial will follow the service at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Bon Wier, Texas, on November 19, 1938, he was the son of Virgil Elmo Hall and Ida Jane Hall. Lloyd proudly served his country in the United States Army in Korea. He was a member of First Church of Orange. He was very involved in his church. Lloyd and his wife, Hilda, spent a lot of time witnessing to the Hispanic community and even helped get several Hispanic churches started in the area. He was a member of the Pipefitters Local 195 and a former member of Golden Gloves Boxing Club. Lloyd was a wonderful man who touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Ida Hall; and his sons, Derek Wayne Hall and Stephen Hall.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 50 years, Hilda Trevino Hall; children, Christina Trosclair and David Hall; daughter-in-law, Rebecca Hall; grandchildren, Alyssa Watts and husband Byron, Christopher Hall and fiancée Emily Amburg, and Ashlynn Trosclair; great-grandchildren, Alexis Watts, Brayden Watts, Aidan Smith, and Wesley Amburg; his brother, Milburn Hall and wife Billie; and numerous nieces and nephews.
