Lloyd Leonard Liming

Lloyd L. Bud Liming, age 83, of Beaumont, TX passed away on October 29, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Hospital as a result of pancreatic cancer. Bud was born in Hammond, IN on December 3, 1927. Not long after his service in the U.S. Army Air Force, Bud began working at Union Carbide in Hammond until he transferred to Beaumont in 1975 to work in the Pipeline Division as a communications supervisor. After his retirement from Union Carbide, Bud worked with his sons-in-law at Tubal-Cain Industries and Voice Broadcasting. He has been active in the Republican Party in Jefferson and Orange Counties. He became a member of Cathedral in the Pines in 1975 and was a charter member of Christian Fellowship Worship Center in 2003. Just as Bud faithfully served as a charter member of Hessville Assembly of God in Indiana, he was very active in both churches in Texas.
Bud leaves behind his wife of 60 years, Barbara, their 4 daughters and their husbands, Cathy and Michael Thomas, Deborah and Ed Van Huis, Cynthia and Ralph McBride, Jill and Alex York, 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, three brothers, Harold, Robert and Joe Liming and two sisters, Mildred Van Gorp and Helen Van Scoyk of Indiana, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at the Claybar Funeral Home, 1155 N. 11th Street, Beaumont, TX on Tuesday, November 1 from 5:00 ? 8 pm. A memorial service at Christian Fellowship Worship Center, 3950 Pointe Pkwy, Beaumont will be held Wednesday, November 2 at 2:00 pm. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 4955 Pine St., Beaumont.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Christian Fellowship Worship Center Building Fund in honor of Bud.
