Lois Ann Davis, 82, of Beaumont was born May 29, 1934 in Lufkin, Texas and passed away Oct. 6, 2016 at her residence in Beaumont. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Claybar Kelley-Watkins Chapel with Reverend Robert Besser officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
Mrs. Davis was a homemaker and resident of Beaumont for 75 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, W.A. “Bill” Davis; brothers, Alton Burroughs and Charles Walker; sister, Billie Nordstrom; birth mother, Annie Walker and parents, Darrel and Ethel Walker.
Those left to cherish her memory include memory include her daughters, Debrah Fontenot and husband, Carroll, Charlene Carpenter; grandchildren, Brad Thibodeaux and fiancé, Stephanie Downs, Lindsey Powell and husband, Chad, Lacey Hantrakul and husband, Paul; great-grandchildren, Hudson Powell, Avery Powell and Cameron Hantrakul; sisters, Carolyn Jean Mazola, Bobbie Jo Murphy and husband, Lee, Ann McCallon; and her best friend and companion Donald Russum.
