Lois Marie Judice, 95, of Bridge City, Texas, passed away surrounded by loved ones on December 1, 2023, in Port Neches, Texas.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at St. Henry Catholic Church in Bridge City, Texas. Officiating will be Reverend Ernie Carpio of St. Henry Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange, Texas.

Visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:00 – 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City, Texas.

Born in Port Arthur, Texas, on November 16, 1928, she was the daughter of Edwin and Agnes Bourgeois. Lois was a long-time member of St. Henry Catholic Church in Bridge City. She loved her family immensely. Lois was a very artistic woman, who enjoyed painting and coloring with her grandchildren, who affectionately called her “MawMaw.” She loved being a mother and raising her children. Lois was an incredible wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of sixty years, Albin Joseph “A.J.” Judice, Jr; her parents, Edwin and Agnes Bourgeois; her son-in-law, Mark Eddingston; her grandchild, Trevin Rigby; her brother and sister-in-law, Eddie and Gloria Bourgeois; and her sister-in-law, Connie Bourgeois.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Larry Judice and wife, Brenda, of Bridge City, Debbie Roy and husband, Paul, of Orange, Al Judice, III, and wife, Michelle, of Bridge City, Kevin Judice and wife, Susan, of Kingsland, and Karen Eddingston of Houston; her siblings, Cecile Berard and husband, Ray, Kenneth Bourgeois and wife, Francis, Gene Bourgeois, and Richard Bourgeois and wife, Debbie; her grandchildren, Tab Judice and wife, Tammy, Amy Townsend and husband, Rodney, Kelsey Bounds and husband, Chuck, Cayla Calamia and husband, John, Daron Benoit and wife, Shannon, Kim Mathews and husband, Jason, Kurt Roy and wife, Kerry, Al Judice, IV, Alicia Romero and husband, Emilio, Nickolas Congdon-Judice and wife, Leda, Jess Judice, Staci Lee and husband, Morgan, Blake Rigby and fiancé, Bailey, and Elizabeth Eddingston; her 26 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; along with numerous other loving friends and family.

Serving as pallbearers will be Tab Judice, Kurt Roy, Al Judice, III, Daron Benoit, Blake Rigby, Emilio Romero, Chuck Bounds, and Rodney Townsend.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to April’s House of Angels, and especially to April, Sandra, and Tasha for the love and care that they provided not only to Lois but also to the entire family.
