Lois Jennell Savoie, 73, of Orange, Texas, passed away on August 15, 2015, at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday, August 18, 2015, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Orange. Officiating will be Father Joseph P. Daleo. Burial will follow at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5:30pm-8:00pm, Monday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00pm.
Born in Beaumont, Texas, on August 31, 1941, she was the daughter of Allison Prejean and Edith Kelly Prejean. Lois was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church where she enjoyed attending Adoration. She loved playing bingo and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, James D. Savoie; son, James Savoie, Jr.; and her parents.
She is survived by her children, Jon Savoie and wife Teresa, of Groves, Texas, and Jodi Eubanks, of Pembroke Pines, Florida; grandchildren, Kenny Eubanks, Brooke Eubanks, John Savoie, Jarrett Savoie, Cooper Savoie, Chase Warren, and Chelsey Warren; siblings, Carolyn Arsement and husband Butch, of Fannett, Texas, Sheila Frederick and husband Ray, of Fannett, Texas, and Mary Carden and husband Keith, of Crosby, Texas; sister-in-law, Barbara Breaux, of Orange, Texas; and brother-in-law, Bobby Savoie and wife Dorsey, of McLewis, Texas.
