Lonnie Andrew Henry

Lonnie Andrew Henry, 88, of Orange, passed away on July 1, 2014, at The Meadows Nursing Home in Orange.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M., Saturday, July 5, 2014, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Chaplain Gary Grantham. Burial will follow at Orange Forest Lawn in West Orange.

Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00 A.M., Saturday at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Born in Calcasieu Parish, LA, on September 3, 1925, he was the son of George Lee Henry and Clara Jackson Henry. Lonnie was a retiree of the City of Corpus Christi.

He was preceded in death by his parents George and Clara Henry; 5 brothers; and 2 sisters.

He is survived by his children, Glenda Icke of Corpus Christi; Patsy Henry of Rotan; Lowell Henry and wife Gracie of Orange; Wesley Henry and wife Brenda of Sargent; sister, Ruby Stevens and husband Bob of Orange, 14 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers will be Ashley Henry, Tommy Henry, Bradley Henry, and Jason Henry. Honorary pallbearers are Edward Lee Henry, Floyd Henry, and Bob Stevens.
