Loraine Becker, 89, of Orange, died Friday, January 23, 2009.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 26, 2009, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange. Reverend Scott McIntosh of North Orange Baptist Church will officiate. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Orange.
Visitation will be Sunday 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Becker was born April 16, 1919, in Orange to Elijah and Mary Azalee Young. She was a longtime member at McDonald Memorial Baptist Church and for the past three years made many friends and memories while living at The Meadows in Orange.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Becker.
She is survived by her sons, Robert Douglas Becker, Leslie Becker, Sr. and wife Scherry and daughter, Cindy Lucas and husband Mike all of Orange; eight grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers will be Les Becker, Jr., Jimmy Becker, Greg Lucas, Brian Lucas, Dylan Dietze, Drake Dietze, Ken Melton and Britt Godwin.
