Loretta Anne Bilbo Griffin

Loretta Anne Bilbo Griffin, 70, of Orange died Wednesday, August 27, 2008, at her residence after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 29, 2008, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Danny Gilliam of McDonald Memorial Baptist Church in West Orange. Interment will follow at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery in West Orange.
Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Loretta was born January 18, 1938, in Orange to Weldon and Evelyn Thomas Bilbo. Loretta worked in the banking profession for many years, and was a member of McDonald Memorial Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Jim Griffin, her parents, Weldon and Evelyn Bilbo, and grandson Jacob Paul Griffin.
She is survived by her children, James Andy Griffin, Sr. and wife Simmye, Cindy Griffin Burks and husband Buddy, and Carol Griffin Lopez and husband Roger; grandchildren James Andrew Griffin, Jr., Jamie Leigh Burks, Kyle Lopez, Rebecca Loren Griffin, Shelby Dyan Burks, and Marlee Nicole Lopez; great grandchildren, Cade and Conner Griffin; brother, Lannie Bilbo and wife Kay; and sister, Nelda Young and husband Bill brother-in-laws, Frank Griffin, Fred Griffin and Johnny Griffin; and sister-in-law, Margie Morgan.
Serving as pallbearers will be Lannie Bilbo, Rodney Bilbo, Buddy Burks, James Andrew Griffin, Jr., Roger Lopez, Jr. and Kyle Lopez.
Honorary pallbearers will be Buddy Campbell, Fred Griffin, and Frank Griffin.
