Lou Anna Hulin Hunter, 72, of Orange, Texas, passed away on January 29, 2020, at her home surrounded by loved ones.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, February 1, 2020, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Deacon David Bonneaux. Burial will follow the service at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Morse, Louisiana, on November 6, 1947, she was the daughter of Dudley Hulin and Alice LaPoint Hulin. She served as the President of the Eagles Club. Lou Anna enjoyed spending her free time crafting, going shopping, and dancing any chance she could get. She was a lover of animals and devoted to her sweet fur babies. She loved her family dearly and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dudley and Alice Hulin; loving husband, Byard Hunter; daughter, Rhonda Rickman; sisters, Genella Robinson and Betty Meriwether; and her brother, James Hulin.
Lou Anna is survived by her children, Anita Grubbs, of Orange, Amanda Aymond and husband Marcus, of Orange, and Sherry Favors, of Bryan; grandchildren, Roshawna Winn, Jimmy Favors, Mysti Eason, Brandi Morgan, Alexis Epps, Hunter Grubbs, Caleb Adams, Logan Adams, Daniel Aymond, and Nicole Aymond; 12 great-grandchildren; her fur babies, Molly, Ransom, Dolly, Bella, and Pepper; numerous nieces and nephews; along with other loving family and friends.
