Born in Lubbock, Texas, on August 17, 1940, he was the son of Josephine Fanto Wynn. Louie lived life to the fullest and loved his family dearly. He was a very diligent and hard worker that loved his work as a painter. He loved people and you could always count on Louie to provide moments of levity as a jokester and prankster. He was grateful for everyone he came in contact with throughout his life. Louie was always bragging about the excellent care that Christina and Monica provided for him for many years. He enjoyed spending time playing cards, especially poker, and eating Waffle House breakfast with his friends. Some of Louie’s favorite things were chocolate chips cookies, and of course his ol’ Dodge truck. He attended Bridge City United Pentecostal Church whenever he had the chance, enjoying every minute of his time spent there, and even spent his time and talent for painting to the church. Louie will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Josephine Wynn; and his father.
He is survived by his daughter, Lynette Massey and husband Milton, of Orange; his son, Troy Pickrell and wife Karen, of Mauriceville; grandchildren; Monica Glasscock and husband Rian, Christina Chargois and husband Robert, and Lindsey Pickrell; great grandchildren; Natalie Varney, Keaton Glasscock, Erika Lovelace, and Gavin Lovelace; brothers, Johnny Wynn and his wife Annette, and Ike Wynn; and his furbaby, Tasha; along with numerous other loving family and friends.
