Graveside services for Louise McAlpin, 83, of Beaumont will be held on Monday, September 22, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in the Turners Branch Cemetery in Spurger. Pastor Will Agey of Mid County Baptist Church in Nederland will officiate. Mrs. McAlpin was born November 7, 1924 in Beaumont, TX to Wiley and Norma Leeper and passed away on September 18, 2008 in Nacogdoches, TX. She was a life-time resident of Beaumont.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mark McAlpin, her parents, and her brothers, Henry Burns and Gene Leeper. Those left to cherish her memory are son, Jerry McAlpin and wife, Georgia, of Houston; special friends, Marie Merendino, of Beaumont, Ruth Bass of Sachse; TX, Charlotte Hill of New Braunfels, TX; sisters-in-law Beth Garrett of Nederland and Barbara Leeper of Vidor; niece, Caren Benge of Nederland and cousins, Judy Wunsch and Beverly Roberts of Kerrville, TX and Jim Teel of Redding, CA.
