A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 6, 2009 at St. Anne's Catholic Church.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Wednesday at Claybar Kelley-Watkins funeral home. A rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m.
Lucille Jose Royer, 86, passed away August 3, 2009. Lucille, a life long resident of Texas, was the 5th of ten children born to Italian immigrants Joseph and Lena Barranco Magliolo. Born September 28, 1922. She graduated from Beaumont High School in 1941. She married LeRoy Royer on August 28, 1950. Over the years she was a member of St. Joseph, St. Anthony, and St. Anne's Catholic Churches. She enjoyed involvement in her son's school activities, baby-sitting, collecting dolls, working jigsaw, and crossword puzzles. Lucille spent her life devoted to caring for her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers Anthony and Joseph, Jr., and sisters, Angelina, Angie, Bonita, Jennie, and Sarah. She is survived by her brothers, Sebastine Buddy and Paul; son, LeRoy, Jr and wife Teri; grandchildren, Barron Royer and wife Tamara, Bradd Royer and wife Alyse, Alice Royer, Dane Roberts and seven great grand children.
