Lynn Harper

June 19, 1937 — January 9, 2009

Lynn Harper, 71, of Mauriceville, passed away on Friday, January 9, 2009, at his home surrounded by his family. Lynn had resided in Mauriceville for the past 38 years and was formerly a resident of Cameron, Texas. He was born on June 19, 1937, in Maysfield, TX to Cordell and Myrtle Harper. In 1978, Lynn became the first Vice President of the Mauriceville Lions Club Chapter, then in 1994 opened and co-owned the first liquor store in Mauriceville Lucky J's, which opened many doors for other business in the area. Lynn enjoyed wood working and building different items for his children and grandchildren, to building a home for him and his one true love of 51 years, Milly Harper.
