Lynn Rose Middlebrooks Linthicum, 63, of Nederland, Texas, passed away on October 3, 2017.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 9, 2017, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City, Texas. Officiating will be Deacon Steve Obernuefemann, of St. Henry Catholic Church in Bridge City. Burial will follow the service at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange.

Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Born on September 17, 1954, she was the daughter of James Stanley Middlebrooks and Dorothy Irene Goynes Middlebrooks. She graduated from Bridge City High School and remained in the area her whole life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Dorothy Middlebrooks; siblings, James Stanley Middlebrooks, June Guidry, Mark Middlebrooks, and Alan “Bull” Middlebrooks; and her niece, Robin Middlebrooks.

Lynn is survived by her husband, Max Linthicum, III; children, Max Linthicum, IV and Scott Linthicum and wife Christina, all of Nederland; granddaughter, Brittan Chance, of Austin; sister, Donia Newsom; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Lynn is also survived by her beloved granddaughter, Jada Linthicum, with whom she had a special bond and who was like a daughter and best friend to her.
