To Mike's family. Mike was one of our hunters on the Fritz Ranch in Harper, Texas for close to 40 years. He, along with his brother Butch, came to be regarded as not just hunters, but as good friends. When my parents, Edwin and Marge Fritz, were living here, Mike and Butch were always eager to help out with my dad's ranching chores as well as fixing Mom's washer when a dime got stuck in it. Our hunter's cabin has the kitchen shelves and a screen door made by Mike. Mike's hunting blind, the Mauriceville Hilton, was constructed and named by Mike. Mom and Dad enjoyed Mike and Butch so much that they were invited to bring their families on summer fishing trips. We were touched that Mike and Butch made the long trip to see my dad when he was very ill and confined to bed. They repeated the long trip 2 weeks later to attend the funeral. Mike was a super fellow. He'll be missed. Al and Janet Fritz Weinzierl.......Marge Fritz
