Makenzie Mariam Jenkins

Makenzie Mariam Jenkins, of Port Arthur, Texas, passed away on January 4, 2017.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 12, 2017, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City. Burial will follow at Live Oak Cemetery in Port Arthur.

Makenzie was the daughter of Corey Jenkins and Christina Lee- Jenkins. Makenzie was an active baby who liked to kick when her daddy talked to her. A bond was built when she was felt moving and kicking.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Earnest Lee; and her great-grandmother, Marie Washington.

Makenzie is survived by her loving parents; her grandparents, Shavon Foreman, of Port Arthur, Cynthia Lee, of Baltimore, MD, and Edward Donald Jenkins, of Baltimore, MD; siblings, Corey Jenkins, Jr., Brooklyn Jenkins, and Carter Jenkins; god parents, Colby and Shana Malbrue and Aaron Wiggins; great-grandparents, Deborah DeNeal and Alfonzo Graves; aunts, Cyntianna Allen, Cyn’Toya Allen, and Cassietta Allen; and her uncles, Keon Graves, Tyrone Gibson, Elijah Foreman, Marquis Graves, and Silas Jenkins.

Serving as pallbearers will be Aaron Wiggins, Dennis “Dimples” Martin, Colby Malbrue, Marquis Graves, Keon Graves, and Corey Jenkins.
