Born in Orange, Texas, on February 1, 1962, she was the daughter of Earl Dorman and Erica Scheiple. As a self-proclaimed “Domestic Engineer” Manuela loved to take care of her family and would do anything to protect them. She believed the best thing in life was to be a wife and mother and she went above and beyond that, being a selfless person and always thinking of others before herself. After being an amazing wife and mother, she then became a wonderful grandmother, having her grandchildren be her world. She also loved her sweet fur babies; Maybell, Angel and Lucy. Along with her family and dogs she also loved flowers, shopping, makeup, cooking the best breakfast, and the color pink. She loved the color pink so much she has a pink kitchen and pink door. She will be dearly missed by those who were lucky to know and love her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl Dorman and Erica Scheiple; and grandparents who raised her, Dora and Nathanial Dorman.

She is survived by her loving husband, James (Mike) Lormand of Orange, TX; daughters, Doree Vance and husband Joey of Orange, TX, Cassandra Harrington and husband Brandon of Orange, TX; granddaughters, Payton Vance of Orange, TX, Julia Vance of Orange, TX; sisters, Sandy Gordon, Dea Arceneaux and husband Joey, and Karen Clopp and husband Steve; step-mother, Eva Dorman; many nieces and nephews and cousins; aunt, Patsy Allbright and her loving fur baby dog, Maybell.

Momma was the most amazing person to bless this earth.. she is and forever will be my person.. she fought so hard and long and was so amazing thru it all she never thought or worried about herself.. she loves all of her family and always told us about the good old days and how she loved spending her younger days with all of her cousins.. even in these past few years in the bed she kept a smile and high spirits she could brighten up any room with her beautiful smile and bright blue eyes. This world will never be the same without her beautiful presence on it and I cant wait to be back in her arms again... I love you momma I'm so glad your walking the streets of gold with all your loved ones and are no longer in pain or sick... I am so blessed and proud to be your daughter and will keep your memory alive forever!
