Marco Antonio Carcamo

Marco Antonio Carcamo, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on April 17, 2025, at the age of 88 in Bridge City, Texas. Born on June 23, 1936, in La Ceiba, Honduras, Marco dedicated over 37 years of his life to a fulfilling career as a Merchant Marine, a testament to his hard work and commitment.

He was a loving husband to Arody Ferez Carcamo, with whom he shared an enduring marriage of 68 years. The couple raised a beautiful family that includes daughters Rosa Carcamo Molina and husband Edward, Carla Carcamo, and son Marco Antonio Carcamo Jr. and wife Moraima. Marco's family extended to include his son-in-law Felipe Salinas, along with 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild, each of whom treasured him deeply.

Marco was not only a devoted family man but also a person of warm personality, known for being a great father and grandfather. He enjoyed hobbies that brought him joy, such as golfing, fishing, and cooking, all of which he delighted in sharing with loved ones.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose Carcamo and Oralia Filigrana, as well as his daughter Arody Marcela Carcamo Salinas. These losses have left a profound impact on Marco's family and friends, who continue to honor his memory.

Visitation will be held at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City, Texas, on April 26, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 PM. Both services will take place at the funeral home located at 800 Highland Dr, Bridge City, TX 77611.
