Margaret Elizabeth Brady Chapman

Margaret Elizabeth Brady Chapman, 85, of Orange, Texas, passed away on March 20, 2019, in Orange.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 22, 2019, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Brother Barry Bradley. Burial will follow at The Cemetery in Mauriceville.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, March 21, 2019, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Tecowa, Georgia, on March 26, 1933, she was the daughter of William Pratt Brady and Fannie (Graham) Brady. Margaret loved tending to her garden flowers and was a coupon queen. She was a wonderful and hard-working stay at home mother and grandmother. Margaret had a loving and nurturing spirit, continuously caring for those around her. She will be dearly missed by all those who came to know and love her.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband on 51 years, Richard Eugene Chapman; and son, Richard Anthony Chapman.
She is survived by her children, Cheryl Duhon and husband Richard, Kim Roberts and husband Allen; grandchildren, Brandi Authment, Jill White, Kristi Burr, Tammi Trip, Valerie Phelps, Risa Nelms, and Hunter Duhon; great-grandchildren, Skyler Authement, Brice Authement, Erica Burr, Adrian Roberts, Mason Nelms, Mallory Nelms, Morgan Duhon, Macy Duhon, E.J. Phelps, and Vivian Phelps.
Serving as pallbearers will be Hunter Duhon, Brice Authement, Cade McKay, Ethan McKay, Chris White, and Eric Phelps.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Kiki’s Hospice House for their loving care that they provided Margaret.
