Margaret Evelyn Schlicher

Margaret Evelyn Schlicher, 78, of Orange passed away Thursday, September 6, 2007 at the Renaissance Hospital in Port Arthur.
Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 9, 2007 at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Brother Jim Hardwick of First Christian Church in Orangefield will officiate.
Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange.
Visitation will be from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Schlicher was born November 1, 1928 in Beaumont to Edward and Velby Abbott. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Garrett Schlicher, Jr., parents, Edward and Velby Abbott; daughter, Alice Jeanette and her brother, Edward H. Abbott.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son and
daughter-in-law, Gary and Dale Schlicher of Orange; daughter, Debbie Schlicher of Orangefield; grandchildren, Anthony Schlicher and wife, Wendy and Robert Schlicher and wife Tiffany; great grandchildren, Lathan, A.J., Savana and Abriana Schlicher and sister, Frances Dean of Nederland.
