Margaret Heard, 94, died in Orange on Novemver10, 2008. A graveside service will be Friday, November 14, 2008, at 3:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens near Bridge City on Hwy 87 with the Reverend Gary Wheeler of the First United Pentecostal Church of Orange officiating. Visitation will be from 12 until 2 p.m. at Claybar Funeral Home's temporary location at 1408 Park Avenue before the service.
Mrs. Heard was born on April 10, 1914, and worked in retail sales. She is preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Heard and her daughter, Jeanette Robinson. She is survived by five sons: Charles Kovatch and wife Lisa of Orange; Joe Kovatch of Port Isabelle; Bobby Kovatch and his wife Ignacia of Matamoros Tamps, Mexico; Jerry Kovatch of Orange and Jimmy Kovatch of Orange, as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Her sons will serve as pallbearers.
